What We Believe
Below you will find our core doctrinal beliefs as described in the constitution of the Christian Assemblies International.
Article VI: Doctrines
The members of the Christian Assemblies International accept the whole Bible as the Word of GOD, and the New Testament as the basis of their teaching and living, and believe in the following:
In the infallible divine inspiration of the whole Bible.
Deuteronomy 4:1-2 Psalm 119:11, 89, 105 Isaiah 40:8 Matthew 22:29 John 5:39; 16:13-15; 17:17 Romans 15:4 2 Timothy 3:15-17 Hebrews 1:1-2; 4:12 1 Peter 1:25 2 Peter 3:16
In the only God who exist from eternity in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
In the iniquity of human beings and the importance of repentance and conversion to God, justification, rebirth, sanctification and salvation by faith in the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus
In the virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension and continuous intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ, Him as the Head of the Body in Christ, as His church, and as our Highest Authority, in His second return, and His millennial reign on earth.
The Holy Spirit
In the fruit of the Holy Spirit according to Gal 5:22 as the standard for the moral and spiritual life ofthe believer.
In baptism (filling) with the Holy Spirit for the believer with the signs that follow
Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:6)
In the gifts of the Holy Spirit according to 1 Cor. 12:14; Mark 16:15-20 and Romans 12:6-8 for the expansion, edification, encouragement and comfort of the assembly, being the body of Christ
1 Cor. 12:14; Mark 16:15-20 and Romans 12:6-8

Mark 16:16-18; James 5:4-15; Act 19:1-12; Mark 6:13
In the ministry of Holy Baptism to the believers by means of a simple immersion (Matt. 28:19; Act 2:38), in the Holy Communion, in the Dedication of children to the Lord.
In the recognition and exercise of the offices of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, teachers, elders and deacons.

In the possibility to be lost in grace and eternity

Luke 8:3; Leviticus 27:30; Proverbs 3:9-10; Matthew 5:17; Matthew 23:23; Deuteronomy 12:5-6; Malachi 3:10; Mark 12:41-44; Numbers 18:21
CMT, your home away from
Great Commission? Matthew
28:19-20 says: “19 Therefore go
and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you…” One method for expanding GOD`s
Kingdom, is by training your Leaders.
We equip, not only our leaders, but also every member of our local assembly from Sunday School to Youth level, to the Ladies, to the Men`s Ministries and our Church Council for the work of ministry and for building up the body of Christ the Ephesians 4:12 way.
The Church should never be confined to a building, rather the church is alive and active and called to following Christ with the purpose of making fishers of men. At CMT, we are the hands and feet of JESUS and seeks to influence the lives’ and reaching people for JESUS in our community first and then our city, our nation and the rest of the world.
Called To Service And Leadership (WAP)
You only need to “want to” to see the many souls GOD can reach through you. “Whoever is of a willing heart…”, says the LORD (Exodus 35v5). “Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few”. Matthew 9v37
When there is less of you there is more of GOD. That’s when availability meets opportunity. Isaiah 6v8 says: “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
Our ability to follow JESUS (being a Disciple) and winning cities for Him hinges on preparedness. “And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fish for people.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him”.
If you decide to visit on a Sunday morning be sure to stay for fellowship after the service, we’ll be thrilled to meet you and if you would like to tell us your story we`d love to hear it. We are ready to serve you!
