CHADESH MISSIONS TABERNACLE ASSEMBLY

ORGANIZATION OF TCAI

How is the Christian Assemblies International church organized?

The leadership approach The Christian Assemblies International churches are employing, is that of a representational form of church government, in which authority is given to elected laypersons known as elders of which one is an Ordained Pastor. Elders are elected by the local church council and anointed by the Pastor. No specific term of serving is linked to being an elder. Together with the pastors, they exercise leadership, government, and discipline and have responsibilities for the life of a particular assembly, including ecumenical relationships. Below is a graphic illustration of how the Christian Assemblies International church is organized followed with a brief description of each council

LOCAL CHURCH COUNCIL

The governing body of a single congregation (Assembly), which includes a minimum of four elders and the congregation’s leader, the ordained Pastor, is called a church council. A Church Council is charged with representing the members of the congregation as well as taking care of the flock. Local assemblies are established by the relevant District Councils, which would also appoint the first Elders (i.e. the Church Council) of the newly established assembly

THE DISTRICT COUNCIL

The leadership approach The Christian Assemblies International churches are employing, is that of a representational form of church government, in which authority is given to elected laypersons known as elders of which one is an Ordained Pastor. Elders are elected by the local church council and anointed by the Pastor. No specific term of serving is linked to being an elder. Together with the pastors, they exercise leadership, government, and discipline and have responsibilities for the life of a particular assembly, including ecumenical relationships. Below is a graphic illustration of how the Christian Assemblies International church is organized followed with a brief description of each council

THE REGIONAL COUNCIL

Several established districts, normally 3 in close proximity forms their own Region of which the boundaries and scope is determined by the Executive Council, and they will decide in which Regional Council a district which falls outside the area of an existing region, will fall. A Region is governed by a Regional Council. Every Regional Council consists of all Ordained Pastors in that region and all Elders, with recommendation letters, that have been delegated from their respective District Councils.

THE WORKERS COUNCIL

The general business of the CHRISTIAN CHURCH INTERNATIONAL in South Africa is managed by the Workers Council. The Workers Council consists of all the ordained pastors/teachers in the assemblies together with the treasurer and secretary being delegated by the Church Council the selection. The elected office bearers will be ipso facto the office bearers of the Executive Council and Executive Committee of both the Workers Council and the Executive Council.

THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

The Executive Council will be a duly authorized representation of the Workers Council between the Workers Council meetings and will be acting in that capacity. Discussions in regard to the functions and competencies of the council in respect of anything with regards to the constitution will take place in meetings where at least two thirds (⅔ ) of members of the Executive Council are allowed and have full voting rights. The Executive council is meeting twice a year and as the needs required. Special meetings may be requested by any church council, District Council or Regional Council. A request for a special meeting, and a statement identifying the reasons for holding a meeting, must be submitted in writing to the Executive Secretary. The Executive Council of a country is the highest authority of power of THE CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLIES INTERNATIONAL and will be the Board of Appeal.

WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Women constitute the great majority of members within the Christian Assemblies International and the role women play must never be underestimated. Mark 16 says: “ When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3 and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?” These women were bold and they had courage. It is to that end that we have a National Women`s mMnistry as a platform where women can give expression to themselves by way of organizing conferences and enrichment camps to uplift and build each other. Women are encourage to, when the National women`s ministry is not meeting, to connect with an assembly near you for encouragement and strengthening one another through sharing of testimonies.

Here are some of the objectives of the Women`s Ministry of the Christian Assemblies International:

• To promote unity amongst the ladies in the church and outside.
• To enhance spiritual growth of the ladies.
• To assist sister (soul mates) to grow in grace, obedience, love, by means of word and deeds.
• To assist the church council in building and keeping the congregation in a healthy spiritual form.
• To give financial and other assistance from time to time as needed, at any of the functions, which the church may have.

Please visit the website of the Christian Assemblies International to discover more and how you can connect.

YOUTH

We live in a time and an era where the youth are reaching adulthood earlier and therefore it is imperative to lay the right foundation so that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace. Psalm 144: 12.

Our youth meet once every week across the country to challenge their faith and encourage each other to be your ultimate best as GOD intended it by living your purpose and being all you can be in Christ! . We encourage young people in the church to be involved in every sphere of ministry. We believe that the youth are not only the leaders of tomorrow but they are leading now. They reach out to their peers in love, compassion, and seeing them transformed in every way.

Here are some of our goals

• Teaching to accept the authority of the Word of God and to submit to it and remain submissive.
• To fill their time with constructive activities, e.g. youth services, youth conferences, excursions, youth camps, etc.
• To preach, teach and promote the gospel of Christ on earth, by all means possible.

The youth is also organized just as the church into Local Assembly, District, Regional and National structures. You are encouraged to glorify GOD by serving in those structures and improving the quality of live of the youth of South Africa.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Sunday School is organized just as the church into Local Assembly, District, Regional and National structures. Parents are encouraged to have their children participate in Sunday School class which are normally hold on Sunday mornings or on Saturdays in some instances. Our lessons are designed to be fun and engaging, and they cover a variety of topics including Bible stories, Christianity, Jesus, God’s Word, the Holy Spirit, and more.

Our goal is always to intensively cultivate the upgrowing child to achieve the following:

• that they will come to know our Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Redeemer from their sins.
• that they may grow up as worthy men and women who will adorn the doctrine of our Lord Jesus Christ in all things, according to Titus 2 verse 10.
• that they will consciously seek the extension of the kingdom of the Lord among the gentiles and for this sacrificing themselves as well as their money; 2 Cor.8: 4-5.
• that they will know, love, accept and uphold the doctrines of The Christian Congregations with words and deed- Jude 1 and 1 Tim.4:16

We encourage our Sunday School teachers across the nation to glorify GOD by serving in the Sunday School structures and improving the quality of life of all children of South Africa. Children who attend Sunday School classes on regular basis will most likely not engage in illegal substance abuse, bullying etc.
